The dual-plane manifold manifold probably suits my driving style better. I understand from all the reading I've done that the Sniper works better with a single-plane manifold in some cases. May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ. Anything I should look out for? The forum info is invaluable. My Camaro is an A/C car as well and I'll probably add headers and a new exhaust down the road. My QuadraJet is old and worn and I have a huge vacuum leak through the main shaft. I just picked up the EFI unit and I'm waiting for the sender/fuel pump unit to arrive. Since I already own it, I'll stick with it either way, its been great. I'm still unclear about whether the Sniper will control that model distributor. The only modification to date is the MSD Ready-To-Run distributor #8360. Anybody have any experience with that combination on that particular engine? It's a '69 L48, pretty much standard.
With the standard hood I might have a height problem with anything taller as well. I'm leaning toward the Edelbrock Performer dual-plane manifold rather than the Torker 2 single-plane because of how I use the car. I'm also getting the tank sender/fuel pump (12-300) for my fuel tank. I chose the 550-510 basic model over the QuadraJet model and I'm choosing to swap the manifold rather use an adapter.
Still, I'm just wondering if there are any opinions or cautions on a new manifold to go with my upcoming install of a Sniper EFI on a '69 Camaro SS 350/300 small block. I'm new to the forum and I've read just about every post I could on the subject.
